In 2016 Resource Futures became a Certified B Corp - part of a global movement to redefine success in business. These are companies Certified by the non-profit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
What is B Lab?
B Lab is a non-profit organisation that serves a global movement of people using business as a force for good. Its vision is that one day all companies compete not only to be the best in the world, but the best for the world and as a result society will enjoy a more shared and durable prosperity. B Lab runs the accreditation of companies, who then become Certified B Corporations, commonly known as B Corps.
What is a B Corp?
B Corps are for-profit businesses with social and/or environmental outcomes as part of their mission, and where governing documents reflect shareholders and stakeholders. They are certified by B Lab as meeting the highest standards of environmental and social performance, accountability and transparency, scoring 80/200 on the performance test to achieve accreditation.
