Communication

Getting the message across effectively

It’s all very well putting products and services in place to conserve resources, but how can you make sure they are used? The answer lies in effective communication with your audience, whether they are residents, your local community, your customers or your employees.

Resource Futures can offer a wide range of ways to communicate whether you are changing or promoting your services or engaging with, setting the scene for old habits to be broken and new ones established.

First we spend the time to understand your audiences, their motivations and barriers to change. Then we develop our messages and the communication activities to directly target and integrate with their life-stages and lifestyles.

Every solution is unique and carefully devised to achieve the best results. We have a wide range of services to make sure this is so. These include:

  • Development of communications strategies and plans to meet your objectives. Through the intelligent use of research and data we identify appropriate target audiences and deliver compelling messages
  • Creative campaigns using communications tools such as print, websites, social media, radio, press and on-line advertising, PR and community engagement - including face-to-face engagement with communities via doorstep and on-street canvassing and road shows
  • Identifying and working with appropriate and interested community groups and media representatives to engage them on topics and convert them into advocates
  • In-house design studio producing impactful, creative and attractive campaign materials
  • Knowledge of how to communicate and achieve positive behaviour change on resource usage
  • Qualitative and quantitative research tools, from focus groups to large surveys, on which to base your communications campaigns
  • Monitoring and evaluation. A vital part of the communication process where we establish the baseline, measure progress against baseline and projecitions and give a clear picture of your campaign impact

We work closely with you to make sure all the communications we deliver meet your objectives – and result in the change of behaviour you are looking for.
