Reducing energy use in Bristol schools
Resource Futures worked in partnership with Bristol City Council, Green Path Solutions and Sustainable Redland to help Bristol Primary schools reduce their energy usage. The key messages were why saving energy is so important to help the environment and save money and how everyone can do their bit to help.
WEEE workshops in Devon schools
Resource Futures is working with WeeeCare and Devon County Council to encourage pupils and their families to reuse and recycle waste electronic and electrical equipment (WEEE).
Devon Composting in Schools project
The Devon Composting in Schools project, delivered by Resource Futures, was possibly the biggest schools' food waste composting programme in the country, involving over 80 Devon primary and secondary schools.
Schools' Zero Waste Challenge
The Zero Waste Challenge (2009-2010) was set up for schools in Teignbridge district and was run by Resource Futures in partnership with the District Council. It proved very successful with all schools reducing their waste and receiving information about the 3Rs.
