We are proud to be an ethical business. As an employee owned company, we are careful with how we conduct business. For example, we have chosen to bank with the UK’s leading ethical bank, Triodos plc, and our reserves are invested in supporting their customers. Our benefits package includes provision of an ethical pension to our employees.
Resource Futures is certified to ISO 14001 and has an on-going commitment to minimize environmental impacts. Staff members are encouraged to cycle, car share and walk to work. Where needed, we use public transport to meet clients to minimise the impact that necessary travel can have on the environment. See our Environmental Policy.
We are also proud to be a Carbon Zero (carbon neutral) Company.
Our environmental management system challenges us to reuse and recycle in the office at all times. In addition, we donate surplus IT and office supplies to local charities, Byte Back and Children’s ScrapStore. The Rubbish Revolution in Gambia is our latest project to support. North End Barra is a village on the Gambian coast line that has a problem with waste but now the local people are doing something about it. Through their fundraising efforts, they have been able to clean their beach and introduce a basic recycling and waste management system and we are delighted to support them.
It is the policy of Resource Futures to ensure that the Company supplies services that will totally satisfy the agreed and implied needs of its clients. To achieve the Company’s quality objectives we have established, documented, implemented, and continually improves the effectiveness of a quality management system that is designed to comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. See our Quality Policy Statement.
