Gev was previously at the waste management services company SUEZ, initially as Technical Director with oversight for environmental, EMS and health & safety functions, and from 2008 as Director of External Affairs, developing waste and resources policy in the UK and the EU. Prior to joining SUEZ in 2001 he worked in hazardous waste treatment before spending 15 years in environmental consulting with Environmental Resources Management (ERM).
Gev has published widely on a range of waste-related issues. He was a member of Defra’s Advisory Committee on Packaging and of the Advisory Committee on Hazardous Substances, and has sat on a number of advisory boards.
