Resource Futures will host a workshop this March, sharing the secrets of getting started in the circular economy.
Resource Futures will be hosting a workshop at Resource 2015, which takes place on 3-5 March this year. Hosted at ExCel, London, Resource is the only major event to focus on resource recovery and circular economy business models, and will bring together businesses large and small to connect and explore opportunities to become circular.
‘Getting started on the circular economy – it’s easier than you think’, which is aimed at professionals from Financial Directors to Designers, will take place on Wednesday 4 March from 12.30 to 1.30 pm. It will showcase Resource Futures expertise in the field, with a thorough exploration of circular business models and real life industry insights talks Principal Consultant, Bernie Thomas, whilst Helen White, Senior Communications Consultant will facilitate an interactive session resulting in a six point plan for delegates to use in their work place.
Resource Futures is once again a sponsor of the event, and this will be the second successive year that the team has participated - thanks to a well-received workshop in 2014. This year, the lunchtime session will be packed with easily accessible information that will de-mystify the circular economy as an unnavigable concept to encourage delegates to welcome it into their business structure.
“Some find the idea of the circular economy a challenge” explains Sam Reeve, Operations Director of Resource Futures. “But many businesses may be moving towards a more circular business model unknowingly – they may already have the data which is necessary for implementing circular business models. We’ll be dispelling uncertainties during the workshop, equipping businesses with the knowledge they need to get going and opening their eyes to commercial opportunities that arise from using this approach”.
The event will also see Resource Futures host a speed-networking session in the form of a circular economy surgery immediately after the workshop on Wednesday.
The Company returns to Resource on Thursday 5 March to host a panel session about how manufacturers are tackling the circular economy in the Living Circular theatre.
