Fiona joined Resource Futures in 2019, bringing with her a unique multi-disciplinary skill set. With over a decade of professional experience, which extends across private, public, and not-for-profit sectors, Fiona demonstrates sound commercial awareness, whilst also being able to view situations through a human needs lens. She is passionate about supporting a fairer paradigm of sustainable development, with a particular interest in the equitable stewardship of the world’s resources from a Climate Justice perspective. She works strategically with qualitative and quantitative data, supporting the delivery of circular economy, waste prevention and behaviour change focused projects. She demonstrates great attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex projects of scale.
With an academic background in Business Law and Climate Justice, Fiona applies methodological rigor to her professional research and analysis work. Since joining Resource Futures, she has contributed to a range of projects, supporting clients such as Zero Waste Scotland, WRAP and the Department for International Trade. This work is underpinned by her experience of working with a variety of corporate, SME and non-government organisations. Prior to joining the Resource Futures team, Fiona worked as a Development Officer for the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund, supporting and evaluating a portfolio of multi-stakeholder carbon reduction and behaviour change projects.
