Katie has over 3 years’ experience in the environmental sector. Prior to joining Resource Futures in 2018, Katie worked as a hydraulic modeller for an engineering consultancy, as an integral member of the modelling team for one of the company’s leading contracts. Her main interests are documenting global environmental threats to highlight areas for action with a particular focus on marine plastics and climate change. Katie supports the delivery of projects mainly in the Insight area of the business, working with the Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency teams.
Katie specialises in desk-based research and data analysis. Since joining Resource Futures, Katie has been involved in a number of projects for Zero Waste Scotland and WRAP and is part of the team co-ordinating the food waste strand of Bristol’s bid to become a Gold Sustainable Food City. Her expertise includes:
