Katie has over 4 years’ experience in the environmental sector, holds a BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Sussex and an MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation from the University of Exeter. Katie specialises in quantitative and qualitative data analysis and uses these skills to support the delivery of projects mainly in the Insight area of the business, working with the Circular Economy, Resource Efficiency and Behaviour Change teams. Prior to joining Resource Futures in 2018, Katie worked as a hydraulic modeller for an engineering consultancy as an integral member of the modelling team, for one of the company’s leading contracts.


Katie specialises in desk-based research and data analysis. Since joining Resource Futures, Katie has developed skills in stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation, and has combined her expertise in a number of projects to provide robust insight and recommendations. Katie has been involved in a number of projects for private sector clients, as well as Zero Waste Scotland and WRAP and is part of the team co-ordinating the food waste strand of Bristol’s bid to become a Gold Sustainable Food City. Her expertise includes:
