Lou has been committed to education and environmental campaigning for over 20 years. She now combines her work with colleges and in the community with being a Waste Education Officer in Devon, delivering lively, practical workshops and assemblies about resources, recycling and composting in both primary and secondary schools. She also works closely with schools over longer periods of time to support long term behaviour change and implement good waste management systems.

Lou is enthusiastic about inspiring people to make sustainable changes and to be more aware of the environment, whether that is with children, school senior management teams or kitchen staff. She enjoys working flexibly in different settings and in always keen to learn more and develop her practice.
