About the role

Resource Futures has an exciting opportunity for a Circular Economy specialist leader to join our consultancy team to work with public, private and third sector clients. You will have proven experience and excellent commercial focus on how to implement the principles of the circular economy.  We are looking for a highly self-motivated, commercially minded and innovative individual who is an excellent communicator at all levels.

Responsibilities

You will engage with external and internal stakeholders including Resource Futures’ whole client base. You will also be expected to contribute to the company’s strategic planning, provide technical leadership, manage and monitor project delivery as a project director in addition to people management duties.

You will have responsibility for business development focused around one or more of the following resources:

  • textiles
  • plastic
  • food

You will also be able to demonstrate a track record across a range of the following disciplines:

  • Technical – Processing & markets; packaging; carbon impacts
  • Policy – Impact of current and future policy
  • Tools – Modelling; data analysis & interpretation; market research

Principal Consultant

Contract: Full time (37.5 hours per week), Permanent

Location: Ideally based in our Head Office in Bristol, although we are open to remote working arrangements. The role will require regular UK and occasional international travel.

Salary: £36,000 - £55,000 pa dependent on experience
