Lily Graves

Community RePaint Network Officer

As Community RePaint Network Officer, Lily is the first port of call for people looking to donate or buy paint through the Community RePaint Network and the existing RePaint schemes.

She connects community organisations and local authorities across the UK with individuals and businesses needing to buy or donate leftover paint. She also promotes the Community RePaint Network through social media channels and website content.

Lily is passionate about enabling sustainable and practical solutions for waste in the paint industry, and facilitating community engagement through the schemes.

Lily has over 11 years of experience running her own community business in Bristol. Her community café-and-laundrette business sought to change attitudes towards shared ownership of facilities, such as laundry machines and printing facilities. She championed the community fostered by people’s experience of doing tasks in good company. Lily is an entrepreneur who built her company from scratch and saw it grow year on year.

She has over a decade of experience running community events, managing a dedicated team and providing positive change in her community.

Since joining the Community RePaint team at Resource Futures, Lily has enjoyed producing many success stories of paint being re-used in communities all over the UK.

Her expertise includes:

  • Modelling a circular economy business
  • Social media content development and strategy
  • Website development and management
  • Strategic campaign and communications planning
  • Stakeholder and partnership engagement
  • Data collection and analysis
  • Delivering and facilitating training
  • Event management
  • Folding a fitted sheet single-handedly!
