Ruth has volunteered for environmental initiatives both in her local community and abroad and particularly enjoys finding ways to connect people and share inspiring stories and ideas.

Ruth has previously worked for a number of small charities and local authorities and has 14 years’ experience managing projects which have engaged with communities, schools and businesses to encourage sustainable practices. She has managed projects for Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, Energy Action Devon, Somerset County Council and Dartmoor National Park Authority and has experience of providing energy consultancy for domestic clients.
