Alex has worked on the Devon Waste Education Programme for 10 years delivering workshops, assemblies and audits about the environment, sustainability, waste, recycling and composting to thousands of children and adults. She has co-ordinated and managed other environmental education work including ‘Dartmoor Saves More’, run teacher training sessions and carried out contract work with schools in Torbay.
Expertise
Alex also helps with the creation of new resources and workshops for the project and has recently started helping to conduct educational tours of the Energy from Waste plant in Plymouth. She is committed and passionate about spreading the message of waste reduction and helping people to make changes in their lives to help protect the environment.
