Profile

Laura is an experienced project manager with an interest in sustainability and reducing waste. She is the Partnership Lead for the ‘Together for Tomorrow’ project – a National Lottery funded collaboration between Resource Futures (CAG Devon) and Libraries Unlimited. The five-year project will support community action in to reuse and repair across Devon with libraries being a catalyst for this change.

Laura spent seven years working for the University of Exeter where she managed collaborative projects linking academia with industry. Her experience includes stakeholder development, winning funding bids and managing collaborative projects.

She also led the development of Share Shop Tiverton – A Library of Things, working with Sustainable Tiverton CIC. The Library of Things acts as a community borrowing hub, storing items such as tools, camping equipment and catering items and renting them to the public at low cost. Laura took the project from conception to a sustainable project run by volunteers every week.

Laura has also worked at the Soil Association and Defra.
