Mobile phones have become an indispensable part of our lives – but also a huge driver of electronic waste with the emergence of a throw away ‘Fast Phones’ culture that impacts on our natural environment and human health.
On behalf of WWF, Resource Futures has led comprehensive research into consumer, business and industry behaviours across the lifecycle of a mobile phone. The result is the ‘Fast Phones’ report, which sets out the scale of the mobile phone e-waste crisis and proposes practical solutions to address this growing challenge and implement a circular economy in the mobile technology sector.
