Izzy is a passionate Waste Education Officer based in Devon. She enjoys communicating with young people about sustainability and eco-friendly practices, providing them with the knowledge and tools they need to reduce their waste and demands on the world’s natural resources.
After graduating from the University of Southampton with a BSc Zoology, Izzy began her career within the education department at Dartmoor Zoological Society where she continues to work alongside her role at Resource Futures, communicating to visitors and school groups about animal conservation, welfare and behaviour.
Expertise
Izzy travels around schools in Devon to teach students about waste, recycling, composting and sustainability through engaging workshops and assemblies.
She distributes educational resources to support this message and also assists in delivering school experiences at the Energy from Waste (EfW) plants.
Izzy is committed to conservation and is driven by supporting others to protect the environment.
