Lloyd Howell

Junior Consultant

Profile

Lloyd began working with Resource Futures as a field operative and site manager, moving into his current role as a Junior Consultant across Circular Economy, Behaviour Change, and Waste Strategy in January 2025.

His background is in Human Geography, in which he holds a BA and MSc. Through these programmes he developed comprehensive research skills, focussing particularly on experimental modes of primary research and representation.

He also has experience in sustainable events and hospitality, including on work engaging audiences with environmental initiatives and recycling at festivals and events. His technical aptitude is bolstered by extensive experience working with digital mixed-media and audio production in music and art, which now informs his consultancy work.

At Resource Futures, this has included directing a series of videos on the updated Welsh Collections Blueprint, creating a website for The Fixy Project, and developing interactive systems maps to drive the transition to a fully circular Scottish economy for Zero Waste Scotland. Lloyd strives to shape a world that is for people and for planet.

Lloyd is driven by the challenge of communicating environmental issues in a way that can effect positive change at critical mass, and brings rigour, creativity, and warmth to everything he does.
