Online tool: Resource Community Impacts Tool

The Resource Community Impacts Tool (ResourceCIT) is our easy-to-use online tool for monitoring and evaluation of sustainable development activities. It enables community groups and funders to demonstrate their impact by calculating how they reduce waste, carbon, energy and save money for individuals and the community.

The tool provides the following functionality:

• Calculates and visualises the environmental and economic impacts of projects
• Indicates social value of activities through measuring volunteer time and consumer cost savings
• Provides activity data and ‘return on investment’ calculations for reports and funding applications
• Helps establish a regular and consistent monitoring and evaluation process for funded projects and activities.
